Our final games of the season were terrific. Senior Night brought a convincing victory against Immaculate Heart. The final game of the regular season found us matched against the #1 team in the state and our #1 rival Desert Christian at their gym. We ended up winning the contest by 9. A thrilling victory that propels us into the Sectional Tournament with confidence and momentum. We take on Duncan High School, Tuesday, Feb 7th at 3 pm at Desert View in the first round of sectionals.

We finished out our January play with an impressive record of 12-4. After tough losses to Valley Union and Green Fields twice, the team accumulated a gutsy road win against a scrappy Tohono O'odham team, a statement win against Tanque Verde, and a season making victory against an impressive San Miguel. We will round out regular season play with Senior Night against Immaculate Heart on Jan 31st and a heated rivalry rematch against Desert Christian on Feb 3rd. Sectional play begins Feb 7th.

Alumni Game
The 2012 Lady Hawks joined by alum from 2007-2011.

After a gutsy and exciting win at Tanque Verde, we played our first annual Alumni Game. It was a great success! 9 former players joined the current Lady Hawks.

The current team won the first half, the alum won the second half, and the 5th quarter was a tie.

 

Pre-Season Record: 3-2 (losses to Benson) -- 2nd place in the Boyd Baker Tournament
